Teknik Masura was founded in Istanbul in 1968 to manufacture paper cones for winding textile yarns. In 1976, it moved to Tarsus to better serve the yarn factories in the Çukurova Region, which was a textile hub at the time. In 1995, Teknik Masura incorporated, completely renewed its machinery with new investments, increased its capacity, and moved to the Mersin-Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone in 2002. For forty years, the company continuously produced only paper cone bobbins. In 2008, with the start of grey cardboard production, it expanded its production to include paper rolls, paper cylindrical bobbins, and paper corner protectors (corner guards) also used in the textile sector. Today, it has become a brand that accounts for approximately 35% of paper bobbin production in Turkey, achieving a remarkable success story.
