Founded in 1989 as Duran Makina, Koenig & Bauer Duran has become one of the leading brands in the international carton packaging industry with the Omega Folder Gluers it designs and manufactures.
As of December 1, 2018, the company continues its operations within the Koenig & Bauer Group, one of the world's leading printing press manufacturers. With the incorporation of Duran Makina into the group, the Koenig & Bauer A.G. Post-Press Division was established, enabling the Group to offer complete line solutions that cover the entire production process, including printing, die-cutting, and folding.
With this new corporate structure, in addition to the design and production of Omega Folder Gluers, Koenig & Bauer Duran provides sales and service operations for the printing presses manufactured by Koenig & Bauer in Germany and the die-cutting machines manufactured by Koenig & Bauer Iberica in Spain.
